CORC is one of the state-owned oil refineries, representing 25% of Egypt’s oil refining capacity. The company supplies petroleum products for the regions of Great Cairo and Nile Delta.
Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) is one of the refineries owned by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). Established in 1982, CORC operates two refineries (Mostorod & Tanta), originating from the assets of Suez Oil Processing Company (SOPC) after the 1967 war. Over time, CORC expanded its facilities, increasing its complexity and operational efficiency. Recently, CORC ventured into turn-key projects related to the oil and gas industry.
